Camping

Rather against our will but we did manage to have some interesting things to break up the monotony of laying in a camper sweating and being carried away by mosquitos.

Mostly we spied on the various animals. Including these koi fish that Honee insisted on referring to as "Giant Goldfeesh" the entire time. There was a fish kill at the pond and these little (or 'giant' depending on who you ask) friends are helping to get the pond rejuvenated. The first image is a rather grainy zoomed in snap and the second is how far away we actually were.

Then there was this deer who decided that snacks were way more important than we were. She stood there munching clover until the sun went down. She might have just eaten until she passed out, we're not sure.

Then there was this little guy. A five lined skink who came to visit and Honee tried to capture to keep as a 'friend'. No worries. He was far too fast for her. She spent the rest of the trip peering under the camper and calling "Here lizard lizard lizard!" The lizard, for it's part, wisely remained in hiding. The night before coming back home we saw "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny". We all really enjoyed it and Honee came home with a special cup and popcorn bucket. (Haven't taken a photo of it just yet.) It's a decent adventure film and a pretty nice way to wrap up the movie series. Although our favorites are still the original trilogy.

Also, follow up for anyone who saw our post about the Mothman museum...Carlos looked up their website and alas. They do not have an "I love lamp" t-shirt.
